Sonic fast-food chain is turning up the heat with two exciting new dipping sauces - Jalapeño Ranch and Asian-Style Sweet Chili. These new add-ons were rolled out on Monday, giving Sonic fans a chance to jazz up their favorite meals exactly the way they want, whether they prefer a creamy, spicy twist or a blend of heat and sweetness.

Jalapeño Ranch, as described by Sonic, upgrades a classic ranch sauce with a fiery twist, blending in the zesty flavor of green jalapeños for a spicy, herby, and creamy dip. On the other hand, Asian-Style Sweet Chili promises an irresistibly savory sweet-and-heat combination enriched with flavor notes of soy sauce, sesame, garlic, and ginger.

In addition to the newbies, Sonic also declared that it has given some of its existing dipping sauces including Ranch, Honey Mustard, and BBQ Sauce - a recipe revamp for a more flavorful dip.

"Our guests love customization, and the new Jalapeño Ranch and Asian-Style Sweet Chili dipping sauces let them try different flavor combinations to suit their style," said Mackenzie Gibson, vice president of culinary and menu innovation at Sonic. "Whether adding a kick to our beloved Tots by dipping them in Jalapeño Ranch or pairing our Premium Chicken Bites with Asian-Style Sweet Chili sauce for a sweet finish, fans now have even more ways to personalize and enjoy their favorite Sonic meals with our extended sauce lineup."

But Sonic isn't stopping there.

They've also expanded their economically priced $1.99 menu, dubbed the "FUN.99 menu", introducing the Original Jr. Chicken Sandwich and Honey Chipotle Jr. Chicken Sandwich. Both sandwiches deliver perfectly seasoned lightly breaded chicken and fresh, shredded lettuce tucked inside toasted bakery buns.

Joining the new sandwiches on the $1.99 menu are the Queso Wraps (available in Bacon Ranch and Southwest Crunch), French Toast Sticks, Small Groovy Fries, and Small Floats that amplify the flavor selection with Coca-Cola, Dr Pepper, Barq’s Root Beer, and Fanta choices. Sonic patrons can enjoy these new sauces and expanded $1.99 menu both in-store and through the Sonic app immediately.
