Unveiled on Thursday, this latest addition to the menu is the fusion of your favorite Taco Bell flavors wrapped in a Quesalupa-inspired cheesy chalupa shell. Offered as a pair, these "street-sized" snacks are sure to satisfy.

Going for authenticity, Taco Bell's Cheesy Street Chalupas boast traditional street taco core ingredients, such as fresh onions and cilantro. However, innovation is key, with the addition of quality proteins swathed in chalupa shells oozing with melted mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses. After choosing between slow-roasted Cantina chicken or grilled steak, customers can also garnish their meal with a Jalapeño Ranch sauce.

Folks who've kept up with Taco Bell may find this menu item somewhat familiar. After initial testing in October 2023, the Cheesy Street Chalupas have made their triumphant return, due to overwhelming approval.

Luis Restrepo, the Vice President of product innovation at Taco Bell, said, “With the Cheesy Street Chalupas, we set out to create a new, flavor-rich version of the beloved menu item, the Chalupas." He added, "Fresh onions and cilantro with layers of cheese and premium proteins, seasoned to perfection create an engaging flavor profile. This new introduction is our way of paying homage to the ubiquitously loved street taco."

Available nationwide for $5.49, these Cheesy Street Chalupas are here for a good time, not a long time. Supplies are limited, so if you're keen to try them, act fast.

To make the deal even sweeter, Taco Bell announces a special offer: one free Cheesy Street Chalupas duo on any delivery order worth $25 or more through Taco Bell App from August 1 to 4. Moreover, DashPass members can get an $8 discount on orders of $25 or more that include a Cheesy Street Chalupa until July 24. From July 25 on, the Cheesy Street Chalupas will be available to order on DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, and Grubhub during their limited-time run.
