The United States is about to be hit by a wave of manga-inspired flavor. Fast-food giant McDonald's announced on Tuesday a new item for their menu that will please avid manga fans across the country. This addition is in collaboration with the beloved Japanese manga series "Jujutsu Kaisen," and it’s a unique Special Grade Garlic Sauce.

According to McDonald's press release statement, the new sauce draws its inspiration from the Black Garlic Sauce that is found in McDonald's locations across Japan. The blend, intriguing in its composition, is described by McDonald's as a "garlic and soy concoction with a slight dash of tangy sweetness."

Fans of the manga series will be delighted to discover that the sauce doesn't just bring flavor to the table, but also intense fandom. What makes it truly special is the packaging. The company announced that this new garlic sauce will arrive equipped with eight unique lids. These lids feature various fan-favorite characters from the renowned anime series.

Among the characters highlighted are Yuji Itadori, considered a "once in a thousand-year talent who braves the poisoning of Sukuna to become his human host"; Megumi Fushiguro, a "second-grade sorcerer of unparalleled intellect who is the unique first-year student permitted to undertake solo tasks"; and Nobara Kugisaki, an "unyielding third-grade jujutsu sorcerer who relocated from rural Japan to Tokyo."

Other characters featured include the "mightiest special-grade sorcerer and Tokyo Jujutsu High teacher, Satoru Gojo," and Kento Nanami, a "contemporary of Gojo who took a corporate job but later revisited Tokyo Jujutsu High to establish himself as a first-rate sorcerer." The villainous Suguru Geto, Mojito, and Sakuna, a "shamed special-grade sorcerer from over a millennia ago who still poses a threat to today's world with his reincarnation," are additionally featured.

Starting on July 9, Fancying the Special Grade Garlic Sauce can be accomplished free of charge with the purchase of any order of Chicken McNuggets or with any usual orders via the McDonald’s app. An additional bonus to each sauce purchase is a 30-day complimentary trial of Crunchyroll, a platform providing its consumers full access to "Jujutsu Kaisen" episodes along with other anime and manga content.

However, do be aware that this special edition garlic sauce will be available only for as long as the supply lasts, and the fervent fans are sure to rush in. If you’re keen on getting them all, place your orders at the earliest possible time. The new sauce can also be coupled with the temporary $5 value menu that McDonald's is promoting.
