One lucky fan stands a chance to become the owner of a cool fighter jet worth $400,000, thanks to the water company, Liquid Death. The company, famous for its edgy marketing, has announced an exceptional giveaway - a custom painted Aero L-39C Albatros jet, which boasts a top speed of nearly 470 mph and a nearly 3,800 lbs of thrust.

As per Liquid Death, joining the competition is as simple as buying a can of the company's product. All participants need to do is show proof of purchase by uploading a receipt on the company's dedicated giveaway page. The more you buy, the higher your chances of winning - each can is equivalent to one entry in the competition. Participants can enter up to 400 times by the deadline on September 4.

If a lucky consumer manages to bag the jet, they will be granted a free hangar space for half a year, ample time to figure out the neighborhood's standing on parking a jet. To sweeten the deal, the company will include a year's supply of Liquid Death, a custom flight helmet, and even pay the sales tax on the plane. However, you will have to manage your own jet fuel, pilot's license, and other operational costs.

For those who feel a fighter jet is too extravagant a prize, Liquid Death has an alternative offering. If they choose, winners can opt for a cash prize of $250,000 instead.

The fun campaign could not resist tweaking competitor Pepsi, recalling it's failed promise in the '90s to give away a fighter jet as a joke. Unlike Pepsi, which was taken to court, Liquid Death confirmed that the giveaway was no joke, stating, "This is 100% real. You won't have to take us to court to get a jet."
