Get ready to level up your mealtime experience! Kraft Mac & Cheese, renowned for their mouthwatering pasta for over three decades, is commemorating their milestone by teaming up with an unexpected partner: Nintendo. The union sees the transformation of Kraft Mac & Cheese into Super Mario Shapes, reminiscent of the superpower-evoking elements of the beloved video game.

The all-new pasta shapes will feature inspirations from the Super Mario universe: Fire Flower, Super Star, and Super Mushroom. These symbols not only powered up Super Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach in the game but will now bring joyful smiles to families as they dive into the delicious meal.

Why did Kraft Mac & Cheese choose Super Mario, you wonder? Well, who better to promote hearty Italian pasta than a beloved Italian video game character, right?

Ashleigh Gibson, senior director of marketing at Kraft Mac & Cheese gave us an insight. "In the fast-moving world we live in, families struggle to enjoy quality meal times together," Gibson explained during the announcement of the collaboration. "Traditionally, we have helped families to reground, reset and reconnect during the sacred mealtime. Maintaining that comforting routine is key to us. Teaming with Nintendo on this newest addition fits perfectly with those values, and we cannot wait for families to reconnect over things they love - a hearty serving of Kraft Mac & Cheese and Super Mario."

Can't wait to get your hands on the Mario-inspired pasta shapes? It comes for every occasion. You can get them in boxes which are perfect for Mario-themed family meals, or in four-packs of Easy Mac cups, for the solo gamers looking for a quick meal in between their Paper Mario gaming sessions.

This creative partnership sees Super Mario join in with other widely recognized brands that have their characters redesigned into pasta shapes by Kraft. Other collaborators include Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Star Wars, and Frozen.

This new adventure isn't Mario’s first culinary outing. Prior to this, Kellogg's released a Super Mario-themed cereal consisting of star-shaped oats and marshmallows, shaped like Super Mushrooms, 1-Up Mushrooms, and Question Blocks. The cereal box even had amiibo functionality for Nintendo Switch gaming.

While Mario has been busy across the seas promoting instant noodle dishes in Japan for Nissin, the Super Mario Spicy Tomato Noodle adds a twist by swapping the trademark cheese for a rich tomato broth, infused with savory chicken, pork and Himeji mushroom flavors.
